Linda Wood Shotwell - Painting, Printmaking, Drawing & Mixed Media
Linda considers herself fortunate to have been raised in Iowa, to have worked in England, Ireland and The Netherlands, and to now live in Texas. She attributes her love of organic textures and bright color to her experiences in each of those locals. Fondest memories include the farmlands of Iowa, the ancient churches, castles and crags of Ireland and England, the museums and canals in Amsterdam and the Texas hill country.
"Simply Nature", Linda's current exhibit, displayed at the Jaycee Center for the Arts in Irving, Texas in July 2015 and many of the pieces are now on display at the Château Retirement Community in Irving.
